About
Fire Extinguisher Training is a 45–60 minute workplace awareness course for workers, supervisors, contractors, and employers across North America, with primary relevance to Canada and the United States. It covers fire hazards, the fire triangle, North American fire classes, extinguisher selection, routine visual inspections, safe evacuation decisions, and the P.A.S.S. method. Interactive checks and workplace scenarios reinforce that portable extinguishers are for small, early-stage fires only. The course-provider passing standard is 80% on a 20-question final exam; it is not a universal legal requirement. Life safety, emergency procedures, and a clear exit always come first.
